Systems change

Project 17 believes that NRPF should be scrapped in its entirety. Everyone deserves access to a safe home and enough money to meet their needs.

Until then, we work to address longer term, systemic problems with the implementation of support for families with no recourse to public funds. We work with those affected by NRPF to:

• Raising the profile of the problems families with NRPF experience
• Campaigning for the improved implementation of section 17 support
• Conducting research
• Engaging with local authorities, decision makers and politicians
• Supporting families to advocate for improved support; and
• Engaging in strategic litigation
